My stay at Riad Jibril was excellent. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect for exploring, just a short walk from the vibrant souks and main square. However, while the room was clean and comfortable, I did notice variations in the decor and setup of different rooms.

My room was spacious and clean, just as you'd hope for in a traditional riad. I appreciated that my bed was elevated, which added to the comfort. However, I did see other rooms where the beds were on the floor, which looked different.

The staff, especially Iheb and Daoud, were genuinely lovely and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs and even surprised my son with a birthday cake, which was a fantastic touch.

Riad Jibril is tucked away in a bustling alley, making it a great spot to soak in the local atmosphere. I found it super easy to walk to the souks and other attractions, even late at night, feeling completely safe.

My stay at Riad Jibril was an interesting mix. the location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Marrakesh. However, the room was quite small and didn’t offer much privacy. Overall, I enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, even if some aspects could have been better.

Rooms

The room was smaller than I expected, with a window opening to the sitting square, affecting privacy. There wasn't a proper door for the bath and toilet, just a curtain, which was a bit inconvenient.

Riad Jibril is in a great spot, just a short walk from the souk and other attractions. It felt safe, even at night, and the alley leading to it was full of life.
Dining

Breakfast offered a decent selection, including bread, jam, and fresh orange juice, though the overall menu didn’t provide much variety beyond that. I was hoping for more options.

The riad had good housekeeping and offered assistance with tours, which I appreciated. However, WiFi wasn’t accessible from my room, which was a drawback.

I had a pleasant but average stay at Riad Jibril. The staff, especially Daoud, were incredibly helpful and made a difference during my time there. However, the room had some issues like no bathroom door and a lack of air conditioning which affected my comfort. Breakfast on the terrace was enjoyable, yet the lingering smell from the cats detracted from the experience.

Rooms

The room was spacious and clean, but it lacked a bathroom door and had no air conditioning. However, it did give that traditional riad feel. I noticed that other rooms were quite different too, with some having beds on the floor. Overall, it was basic but okay for a short stay.
Service

The service was really friendly and hospitable. I appreciated that the staff were helpful, especially Daoud who went above and beyond for me. They were always around when I needed assistance, although sometimes it was hard to get their attention at breakfast.
Location

The location is super close to major tourist attractions, making it easy to explore Marrakesh on foot. I walked to the souks and other sites, which was quite convenient. Finding the riad involved navigating through a busy alley, but that felt typical of the city.
Dining

Breakfast on the terrace was quite nice, featuring fresh orange juice, coffee, and various pastries. Although I found the breakfast service a bit confusing at first, the food was delicious and filling, except for the lingering smell from the cats that made it less enjoyable over time.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were a little basic, with no room cleaning during my stay and a few maintenance issues like non-working TV remotes. Public areas were pretty though, and I had no problem finding a cozy spot to relax.

I had an average stay at Riad Jibril. The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk to the main square, which made exploring easy. However, I found the room to be quite small, and the fact that the bathroom had no door was a bit uncomfortable. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the room didn't have much in terms of amenities like Wi-Fi and TV.

The room was big and clean, but privacy was an issue since the bathroom only had a curtain. Plus, we didn’t have room cleaning service during our stay.

It's located up an alley, but you can easily walk to the souks and other attractions in Marrakesh, which is a major plus.

Breakfast was good, but getting it served was a bit confusing. I had to hunt down staff to get served after 8 am.

I was disappointed with the lack of Wi-Fi in the room, which forced me to go to the communal seating area. There were also no TV remotes that worked.

I had a truly fantastic stay at Riad Jibril! The place was lush, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it a perfect escape. The location was super convenient for exploring Marrakesh; I could walk to the souk and many attractions. While the lack of a pool was a minor downside, the hospitality of the staff and the cozy atmosphere more than made up for it. I can't wait to return!
